The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
